SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK

Other duties include:
-Maintaining the Parts Department, including cleaning and organizing stations as well as assisting other personnel.
-Following all instructions and procedures given by supervisor.
-Unpack, examine and route incoming shipments as well as record defective parts/damaged items for replacement credit.
-Complete inspection testing and confirmation of receiving packages via documentation.
-Maintain materials and supplies and knowing when to order new parts.
-Responsible for managing outbound shipments which include preparing paperwork in software system, managing of packaging materials inventories, package products meant to be shipped and arranging transportation services.
-Operate lift trucks, hand trucks and forklifts to move or hoist materials to proper areas.
-Make pick-ups and deliveries to suppliers for parts and materials using company vehicle.
Perform final product processing and inspection and expedite shipping of orders according to shipping instructions for specified orders.
Valid driver s license with a clean MVR
Proficient using a PC in a Windows environment
Experience with Word & Excel, label printing software
Certified forklift operator
Those with previous experience in the aviation industry are highly preferred, but that is not a requirement
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
Able to wear hearing protection for loud noises
Able to climb ladders
