We are currently looking for someone who is upbeat and able to be a jack-of-all-trades in this customer service representative role. Responsible for providing extraordinary customer service to all customers by acquiring in-depth knowledge of company products and processes as well as communicating effectively with team members within the company. Key traits the ideal candidate will have: able to focus on their work and not get distracted by everything else going on around them; able to be on feet and check on warehouse inventory occasionally; able to do work independently and not need to be told what to do.
Other responsibilities include:
" Effectively manage incoming calls
" Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
" Responsible for taking customer orders via telephone, and processing the order
" Contact customer via phone and/or email to obtain authorization to ship their order
" Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, and follow up to ensure resolution
" Record details of customer contacts and actions taken
" Provide support to outside sales reps
" Must be able to: work in a fast paced environment, accurately work on multiple tasks, be able to prioritize, be well organized and manage time effectively
" Must have experience working with computer programs such as SAP, Great Plains, Peachtree, etc as well as basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
" Must have experience using Outlook email as a source of communication, follow up and organization
" Two years previous Customer Service experience
" Associate Degree or equivalent work experience preferred, but not required
